Inspire network closed

The technical work of the Inspire network has been completed. During the period 2006-2009 we employed 30 Early Stage Researchers and two Experienced Researchers. Among the 32 ESR/ER, 15 female candidates were employed (47%). Three ESR already defended their Ph.D thesis in the year 2009 while another seven are supposed to do this in 2010. The research fellows and scientists-in-charge published altogether 130 papers in conferences, journals or books. As an outcome of the Inspire network two comprehensive books on the main topics of the network have been published in 2009. Altogether the Inspire network can be regarded as an overwhelming success in terms of the scientific outcome and the training. See menu entry About for details ...
